VE7ALB's Page I am a ham radio operator and a regular vlogger on the popular website YouTube. I have created this site in a effort to provide some information about what ham radio is and how it is used in communities around the world. I've also created this site to promote information about my YouTube channel, INET. I create videos for INET relating to technology and major news events. To date I've helped over 100 people with tech-related inquiries and many have become regular viewers.
In addition to my involvement in the Victoria ham radio community and YouTube activities I am an avid FTAer. I currently have a 90cm motorized dish as well as several fixed dishes which I use to watch unencrypted TV channels and feeds from around the world. I am constantly trying to promote information about the real hobby of FTA and how it is a great way to see what is happening in our world from a variety of perspectives. I hope you find this site to be informative and useful and I encourage you to contact me via email or though my YouTube account. http://ve7alb.ca (3403 clicks)

The Telson Spur: A Way Station for Snark Hunters The Telson Spur is a list of links, mainly to academic resources, organized on the theme of necessity vs. contingency in the study of time and evolution (a theme adumbrated in the old debate on the Plurality of Worlds, now the SETI Debate, perhaps first clearly adumbrated in 1788 in Kant's "Critique of Practical Reason," and always implicit in the more recent discussions on the Epic of Evolution). http://snark.org (5351 clicks)
