I want to connect using FTP to Islandnet.com's servers, is that possible?

Yes,  we do recommend SFTP (SSH needs to be on) to connect for all non *Virtual Accounts:

Server: islandnet.com
Port: 220
Account Name and Password.

But FTP is supported for all account types:

Server: ftp.islandnet.com
Port: 21
Account Name and Password.

If your having problems after the initial connection with FTP then one of 2 things could be occurring.

• Maximum connections on the server side have been reached,  this is unlikely but possible.

• Your connection mode (Passive/Active) is the problem,  try toggling this and reconnecting,  we have seen more success with Active mode (Passive FTP off).
