Westshore Foodbank

Islandnet.com is very happy to support local community projects. The Westshore Foodbank serves the community where the majority of the Islandnet.com staff live and its one street over from our offices so it could not be more local.

The Goldstream Gazette ran an article on the front page of the August 19th 2011 titled "Bottom of the barrel" reporting that the foodbank donations for the summer have not been meeting the needs in the community.

They are in need of non-perishable items and Islandnet.com would like to encourage its customers to donate by offering $2 in reward points on an account when you drop off 3 items at the Islandnet.com office.
